Julia Biggs is a writer, poet and freelance art historian from Cambridge, UK. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in publications such as Ink Sweat & Tears, Black Bough Poetry, Annie Journal, Streetcake Magazine and Green Ink Poetry. Her current research explores haunting seascapes and the delicious excesses of the Gothic mode.

She is also the author of two nonfiction publications devoted to the prolific painter Raphael (Flame Tree, 2020) and Italian Renaissance Masterpieces of Art (Flame Tree, 2019).
